About Us
At That Kid Life, I believe that all children deserve to thrive. Based in Southend-on-Sea, wellbeing and calmness is paramount to my classes. I provide safe, welcoming spaces for children and their families, where confidence absolutely blossoms.
Founded by me, Lauren Astrella, That Kid Life was formed as a response to the lack of calm and creative classes for kids locally. I pride my award-winning art and craft classes on being led by qualified teachers, providing opportunities for children to learn creative skills, make new friends and leave with big smiles!
Following on from the success of my art and craft clubs, while still teaching at a local primary school, I could see the ever-increasing need for personalised support and 1:1 attention. Setting up small group tutoring means that I can offer expert, tailored teaching to nurture individuals and give them the focused attention that they deserve, to help them thrive and reach their full potential.
