About That Kid Life

At the heart of That Kid Life is a simple mission: to make creativity accessible for all children, regardless of background, ability or circumstance.

We design and deliver inclusive creative programmes that support:

  • emotional wellbeing

  • self‑expression

  • confidence building

  • community connection

  • playful learning

Our work is rooted in the belief that creativity isn’t a luxury, it’s a vital part of childhood.

What we do:

We run a growing range of creative opportunities for children and families, including:

  • Community craft clubs

  • Holiday workshops and creative camps

  • Pop‑up creative events

  • Creative wellbeing resources and kits

  • School partnerships and enrichment sessions

Every session is designed to be welcoming, nurturing and accessible, with a strong focus on wellbeing and creative freedom.

Our priority is community benefit. This means:

  • Surplus is reinvested into subsidised places, community events and developing new creative wellbeing resources.

  • We actively work to remove barriers to participation, offering low‑cost sessions and funded places wherever possible.

  • We collaborate with local schools, organisations and families to ensure our work meets real community needs.

Inclusion and Accessibility

Creativity belongs to everyone. We design our sessions to be:

  • neurodiversity‑affirming

  • trauma‑informed

  • flexible and child‑led

  • welcoming to all abilities

  • supportive of children who may struggle in traditional settings

Values

  • Creativity — every child is an artist

  • Belonging — everyone is welcome

  • Wellbeing — emotional safety comes first

  • Playfulness — joy fuels learning

  • Accessibility — no child left out

  • Community — we grow stronger together

We celebrate individuality and create spaces where children feel safe to explore, make mistakes and express themselves freely.

That Kid Life generates income through workshops, clubs and creative products but profit is never the goal. Income allows us to:

  • keep sessions affordable

  • offer funded and subsidised places

  • run community events

  • develop new creative wellbeing resources

  • invest in safe, high‑quality materials and equipment
